The Municipal Government of Mariveles under the leadership of Mayor AJ Concepcion, successfully conducted a two-day, “Developing Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace Training Seminar” in Camp John Hay, Baguio City last March 10-14, 2025 for its 1st and 2nd batch of employees.

The training seminar, facilitated by the Human Resource Management Office, is aimed at equipping their employees with effective emotional intelligence and managerial skills, level-up the capabilities of their employees and sharpen their skills  towards more effective public service.

Lead resource person, Ms. Cristina Gonzales, CSC Director II, provided employees with a deeper understanding of their emotions and how to manage them thru better communication with their co-workers.

Mayor Concepcion underscored that the training is part of the LGU’s effort to enhance the employees efficiency and promote a more positive and productive work environment. By developing emotional Intelligence, employees can better navigate workplace challenges, communicate effectively and provide a much improved services to their constituents.
